IST BALLAST POCKET

The IST technical diving weight pockets are made from 1680 denier ballistic nylon for durability and only the highest grade of Velcro and corrosion resistant zips are used as the pocket closure. They have 5cm (2”) webbing loops for angled attachment to the harness for quick and easy release of weight when needed.

JT-WP-4 is designed for warm water usage which is capable of containing up to 4kg (8.8lb) of weight in each pocket. It also leaves ample space on the waist part of the harness for attaching other equipment needed underwater. JT-WP-7 is the larger version and has the capacity of up to 7kg (15.4lb) of weight to counter the increased buoyancy from cold water exposure suits.
